What to get?

Hi

I have a 11 year old God Child / Niece who is really in to fashion and possibly designing when she gets older.

If you have any suggestions as to what I could get her for xmas, it would be really appreciated. I don't want to go huge money tbh, maybe €50

Would this be too childish?

At 11, she would be a bit too able for that. I would get her a nice sewing box, kitted out with some basics and a length of material or some knitting needles and some wool with maybe a book with instructions. I started off making dolls and clothes for those dolls. A really nice sewing box with thread needles etc would have thrilled me. There are some really good craft books out there too.

€50 is very generous, I only spend €20 on my nieces and nephews

My girls (11 and 14) get great mileage out of fashion design workbooks -- got them in Eason's for about €4. They're basically images in different poses with suggestions on each page for a 'look'. The girls get hours and hours of fun out of designing different outfits.

I know that's well below the amount you want to pay, but in my experience they get more fun and mileage out of it than the more expensive products.
