Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It may not be suited to av usage. There is a difference.

Just because a drive has usb 3 functionality, doesn't make it a fast drive

Ok well I have went ahead and bought the drive anyway... if it is not fast enough well at least I will have 4TB of storage. Although this drive contains just 1 disk with no RAID config and speed is 7200 RPM which is pretty normal...

What do I need to look out for when buying an external hard drive for the Triax TSC114 so that I can record and playback live TV?

Seperate power supply (not powered by USB)

Fast read and write speeds MB/s (not RPM)

    High capacity (500MB min)

Some very, very, high capacities may cause problems if the box cannot handle it.

Then ideally you need to format the drive using the receiver menu, and ideally NTFS if possible.

Is it possible to transfer the recordings to another hard drive to watch on a computer?
