    Wind really got up last few hours. Seems to be slowly turning to the west/north west now and getting cooler. Currently 6.2c. Extremely heavy showers now too. One heavy one was sleety. South mayo.

    Im having a problem with my humidity reading I think, its been at 98% for the last few days/weeks, my station is a WMR88 any suggestions what might b wrong or maybe thats the humidity, i doubt it!!

    East Wicklow temp rising now 4.1c, did drop to 2.4c

    Can't complain, early start to get to a vital meeting in Dublin so would prefer no frost - but not holding my breath?

    Fog is keeping Temp down in Tullow as can be seen on Webcam http://www.carlowweather.com/wxwebcam.php still -2.9 while in Carlow Town the Sun shining and its above 0c

    Strong frost here in the east too but at around 1030am,we had a sharp shower in off the Irish sea.
    Gloriously sunny ever since with a very light east breeze.

    Another thermometer which is inside a butter carton reading -3.5, think thats over reading it.
