I see that the air temp. is still -1.5 at 13:00 today which is about 3 miles from me (Killygordon, Co. Donegal). Coldest spot in Ireland at the moment I'd imagine.

Even the M4 buoy has a DP of 0c and 3/-1c off a southeasterly in DubAir at the moment.

This is all due to a cold base in the UK

Anyone notice a strange colour in the sky today around 4pm? In Wexford town everything around me seemed to glow from the suns light through the clouds. I dont have any photographic evidence, but it was quite intense for around 20 minutes. If anyone experienced this or could explain the reasoning behind this?

Actually I noticed a strange colour in the sky today - a weird light that if I didn't know better by reading here, it looked like it was about to snow!!

Funny you should say that! In Derry this morning I was talking to a friend and said it looked as if it where going to snow!

Also, the sunset this evening actually looked like there was a huge fire in the horizon beyond the hills. Immense looking
