Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lol. I'm sorry and feel bad for the guy but I couldn't stop laughing.

Might have been new panniers and he wasn't used to the width.

OMG....that is so ****ing funny, but yet not funny. What are the chances of landing in a boat ffs....from the looks of it the bike didnt actually go into the water either. He/she totally forgot about panniers on the side. Which I would say is very easily done if only got the bike and never had panniers before.

    Ode To The Motorist

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

WTF was he doing outside that bollard anyway?

Plus, odds are that he was in a pedestrian-only area...

    10/10 for dismount & landing, though. :)

    Not your ornery onager

Possibly because they where riding somewhere they shouldn't.

Over in France last year one of the lads clipped a bollard with his pannier, nearly went over, easy enough to do when not fully concentrating/tired.

Deffo shouldn't have been riding in that tight spot....lethal. That fall hurt.

This explains the camera. No serious injuries to the rider.

That's one way of taking a nice bike ride and ending up with a bent bike, investing in a scuttled yacht and multiple bumps and bruises. Ouch!!

I'd say the bike landed on the jetty.

Thankyou for confirming my original thoughts.:)

Camera work is too professional looking and so well focused (from far side of harbour/marina) on the actual rider and bike....hense my post asking about the camera.
