Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

IEC while in Canada

    Hello all,

    Wondering if anyone is in the same boat as I am.
    I have been in Canada since April of this year on my 2nd visa, there was no 2 year visa 1st time I came in 2009, I am wondering can I get a 3rd year visa and if so how does the process work. Last 2 times I went through usit this time I do not want to. How difficult is the process and can anyone point me in the direction or provide some useful links,

    as far as i'm aware you can only participate in the programme twice therefore you're not eligable to apply for a third IEC - someone please correct me if I'm wrong here.

    however, there are other options for staying on in Canada aside from the IEC - have you researched options?

    No you can't apply a third time.If you had been on your first year you could have got another two years on the 2013 visa

    Well Paddy from Westmeath, I hate to break it to ya but you cant just expect the Canadian government to hand you another 12 month work permit. Or do you???:rolleyes:

    No you can't apply a third time unfortunately! Have a look at the moving2canada website, they have a good summary of your other options - http://www.moving2canada.com/planning/immigration-to-canada/
    They have changed the requirements of the CEC so looks like that might be the best bet
