Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

the missus broke the charging dock on her iPhone 4. There is a tiny bit gone off the corner and the phone won't chage any more.
Does anyone know if this is covered by Apple warranty?

    Cheers
    Coco

They don't cover accidental damage but will repair it for 160. I'd say its an easy enough DIY fix

I've looked into the dock on the phone and can see a corner of it broken off and 2 connectors sticking out. She must of ripped the charger outta the phone (stupid bitch haha).
I guess she will just have to get someone to replace it

I think you're guessing right. iPhone 4 so I'm guessing out of warranty anyway? Regardless Apple will charge a lot, find a local non apple repair shop and they'll prob fix it for €20-30 (guestimate)

Any good at DIY? http://www.syncron.ie/iPHONE_4_CHARGER_DATA_DOCK_PORT_CONNECTOR_FLEX_p/di4.htm (note you need a different one if it's a 4S)
