Hey myself and a few college friends will be heading out in Dublin soon and I would like to know where is a good night club to go dancing and have a good time with a good age group of people and good music. Are age group ranges from 20 to 25, and music wise whats in the charts and stuff you can dance too. Any suggestions would be great, :)

if your looking for music thats in the charts and that age group maybe try

Alchemy smack bang in the middle of Temple Bar

    Howl at the Moon http://www.howlatthemoon.ie/index.html

    D|two http://www.dtwonightclub.com/

    Or Diceys http://www.russellcourthotel.ie/barsclubs.htm

Be careful though some these places can be strict on age being over 21's.

This. Its a big factor, some places are over21's on weekends. You cant really go wrong with anywhere on Harcourt street if thats the kind of club you want.

I would be going out on a Friday night. So I have to be careful where I go? We might not get in with someone under 21 with us? What about Temple bar does anyone know? Thanks for all the help so far guys :)

Temple bar isn't great if you're looking for the nightclub experience. It's full of pubs alright, but I think it's mostly aimed at the tourist market.
But yes, it has Alchemy and Club M.....can't say I'd recommend the last one TBH

Georges st/Camden st can be good, lots of fairly big pubs / bars with late opening. It's a bit of a walk from one end to the other (so bring the flats for that one ;)), but it's got a fair bit of choice.

I'd second Mark's recommendation of Harcourt St. A few decent clubs there.

P.s. The Dragon and The George on Georges St are clubs aimed at a very specific market, I suspect these may not be of interest to you (Despite the number of men you see going in there) :D

Dublin excels when it comes to mainstream clubs.

    Few more ideas:

    Temple Bar: Club M
    Fitzsimmons
    Madonnas( 80s club)
    Buskers above Alchemy
    Purty kitchen
    Turks Head
    Trinity

Grafton St: Play(new club where 21's was)
    Lafayette bar and club
    Q Bar
    Club Nassau
    Break for the Border
    Cafe En Seine
    Dandelion
    Baggot Inn
    Kennedys
    Howl at the Moon
    Wyldes
    Lillies Bordello

    Village Quarter: Camden Palace
    Rain
    Diceys Garden
    Krystal
    D2
Bojo 30 (maybe a bit too old)
    Copper Face Jacks (hmmmm)
Odeon (just reopened on Harcourt St)
Everleigh Garden ( only opened Sat nite)

    Leeson St: Kobra
    Buck Whalleys
    NV
    few other basement places too

Also a really good place on Parnell Square called the Avenue.

Thats about 35 or so Clubs- all mainstream.

Friday and Saturdays nightclubs bump up their age restrictions, I know all of Harcourt St goes to over 20/21's on the weekend, Palace goes over 20's, Village is similar afaik.

Was at Howl At The Moon a few Fridays ago, it's not bad tbh.

club M - you WILL regret stepping foot inside, Howl is usally and older end of the 20s age group. The Village is excellent, As is Grand Social IMO

Club M avoid like the plague as above said, Howl at the Moon I would recoommend, three diffeent levels age groups tend to vary more from floor to floor but you can wander around all three freely :).
