Gaming PC (€1000)

Interested in building a gaming PC but have no idea what parts to get or what's the best value for money right now so I'm completely open to suggestions. Except I want an SSD included and I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a quieter set up, other than that no real preferences

1. What is your budget? Around €1000 could go a little higher

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Gaming

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? Yes (7 ideally)

4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? No

5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? Planning to get a new TV soon and use that so 1920x1080

6. Do you need any of these peripherals? Wouldn't mind a new wireless keyboard and mouse, recommend away but don't worry about factoring it into the price

7. Are you willing to try overclocking? Yes

8. How can you pay? Bank Transfer, Paypal, Credit Card, Visa Debit

9. When are you purchasing? Soon hopefully

Besides that that build seems good, I could probably drop the hard drive to 2TB and pick that other graphics card you recommended

Only reason is I forgot the Samsung droped in price, the one you linked to is a better deal.

That other card is a monster so definitely go for it if you can in such a high end system.

Sounds good right now I'm leaning towards that build with the Samsung ssd, the 2tb hard drive and the 7950 not going to order for a few days so any other recommendations are welcome.

How long do they take to deliver?

Would you use the DVD drive?
I never use mine any more as you can install windows over usb.
Then you could spend more on the case.
The Shinobi is a good case, will do the job but looks very basic.

Last time I ordered it took 2 days for the transfer to clear and 4 days for delivery. Might take a bit longer this close to Christmas.

Probably won't to be honest so might consider dropping it. Any other cases you'd recommend?

I don't have any in mind, the selection on hardwareversand is vast. Just pick one that you like the look of and see if it has got good reviews by using google.

Just found out I still have access to Dreamspark, are the Windows 7 or 8 licenses on there good for a new PC?
