    Hey Guys,

I'm a serious technophobe and I need your help! I'm looking to get a kindle for someone for a Christmas present but I have no idea which one to go for. I would like to keep it on the cheaper side but would be willing to spend up to $150 Australian dollars in my quest.

Can anyone point me in the right direction re which one to go for, based on their relative merits and whatnot? Keyboard or no keyboard? Have people found that they are cheaper to buy online at all?

    Many thanks!

    This one is perfectly fine:

My wife has the one with the physical keyboard, which only gets used around once a month when buying new books!

Kindle €82 versus Kindle Paperwhite €129, cannot make up my mind, is the Paperwhite worth the extra??

Are you going to be reading in the dark a lot and do you prefer a touchscreen? If so, go for the paperwhite. I have an ordinary one and like having the physical button on the side to change the page, but the clip on light can be a bit of a nuisance if bringing it anywhere.

Just upgraded to the Paperwhite, one of the big thinks I've noticed is its much easier to read when waiting for buses in the winter months because of the light. I used to have a clip-on but it got annoying using it after a while
