Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Lay Volunteer technicalities

I am a US citizon applying for a Lay Volunteer Visa in Ireland. I have been in Ireland as a tourist for two months, not planning on extending my stay past the 90 day limit. However, since my stay, I have been offered a paid volunteer position for a museum in Cork, and I would like to apply for a Lay Volunteer Visa. However my 90 limit is up on one month, and I do not know if my visa application will be fully processed by then. Is it possible to extend my stay past the 90 days in order to wait for my visa? Or do I have to return to the United States and come back with my new visa?
    I appreciate any help.

Are there any listed volunteering organisations in Ireland that permits a foreigner from a continent like Africa to come volunteer in Ireland under the lay visa scheme?
