Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Aging cold-brewed coffee?

I was reading an article on a very exclusive Japanese cafe on CNN. Discussion on the ridiculousness or awesomeness of the place aside, I was struck by something the guy said:
Kiyota told me he cold brews his coffee, then ages it for up to 10 days, “until it tastes like Glenmorangie.”

So...what gives? I know that cold-brewed coffee can keep for a day or two, but I've never noticed it changing taste! Any ideas? I feel like he's imagining this or this is part of coffee snobbery.

I have tried my own cold brew coffee after a few days (just because I forgot I still had some left in the fridge). If tasting much more bitter is considered ageing then yes there is such a thing. I did not like it by the way and threw it away...
