Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Get used to it, this is going to be the longest pregnancy in history. It'll feel liek 14 months by the time its all over.

Channel 5 even have a 1hr special on it tonight, after only being announced yesterday.

    Back to the football .....

Relax, we'll be along, not like theres more than a handful of us around these parts anyway.

Even though I'm apathetic about this match I have to say that every time I see Maicon in a City shirt I get a bit more frustrated, he can't defend, can't pass, can't jump and has so far shown a complete inability to deliver a cross.

That's one thing about our game, I just wish that when we play Dzeko we send in a few more crosses for him to attack.

Oh I didn't mean actual City fans, I meant the ABU's, they're awful quiet tonight.

More fun reading the skysports tickers online for tonights games. Some examples:

Thank heavens for Real Madrid. We've an hour-long Goals Show at 10pm and they're the only ones scoring goals at the moment!!

Hurrah! Another goal. Jeff is explaing to the pundits that Porto need to win that game to finish above their opponents. He's got all the permutations worked out in his head!

It just shows what a manager can do when given time.

Still hurting from the way he made your defence look pants in June?

  • Registered Users Posts: 645 ✭✭✭dagdha

Tyler mentioning that the referee is from Serbia just when Balotelli gets knocked over and does'nt get a free. Did anybody think that was an odd comment to make in that instance?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,800 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Javi Garcia was made to look a bit of a chump there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,670 ✭✭✭Peppa Pig

Bittencourt - is he the manager's son?
    Looks about 14

    Would love if Bittencourt scored.

3 minutes added, I guess, the ref loves the way, Borussia Dortmund plays :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,800 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Man City just could not handle the physicality and tempo that Dortmund played with.

Dortmund are a bit like Barca on steroids :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,627 ✭✭✭Lawrence1895

    Balotelli? Hahahahaha :P

City have been absolutely **** in this CL campaign, Mancini's job could very well hang in the balane here.

What an absolutely pathetic campaign for City. Shameful stuff with a squad like that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,800 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Dortmund probably have half the budget that City have, but twice the team :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,056 ✭✭✭applehunter

    Man. City poor again.

    Nasri
    Maicon
    Barry
    Lescott

Either shown up or not hungry enough for this level.

Or as they said on the radio station, I was listening to, they were resting themselves for the derby against United ;)

Anyway, who thought, Borussia would be on top after the group stages? I didn't tbh...but I'm delighted

Think he could be gone in the summer alright. Was a tough group though to be fair. If they were in Arsenal's or United's group they'd have strolled through.

But that's neither here nor there. Zero wins is poor no doubt about it

I doubt it's anywhere near half city's budget, it'd be surprised it they even had 1/3rd city's operating budget.

Too easy.. and with a much weakened side.

    ;)

Gutted that City couldn't get a win tonight. The Europa league is a punishment not a prize.

City with the worst performance in group stages by an English club in CL history.
