Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

18 pack of the same tayto crisps are €3.84 in Tesco.

You're purely paying extra for the box

I'm a sucker for the Christmas box too!

Tayto and Kings boxes are likely to come up on the Dunnes 12 days of Christmas specials if people can hold off.

Be warned though Northern Tayto are different (its a bit of Bulmers/Magners type deal I think) and IMO less tasty

Are they real Tayto or the UK one?

Can't believe people are suggesting normal multipacks instead of a classic box of tayto at christmas ! Whats next, 4kg of cooking chocolate instead of a tin of roses ? Maybe 6 packs of tesco value digestives instead of some Afternoon teas ? Bollox to a frozen turkey, if we get 20 packs of Denny sliced turkey is far cheaper ! Don't mind the beer, just get some ethanol and shoot it straight into your veins, far more effective ! .. Okay maybe I'm getting a bit carried away :pac:

You need them for putting the christmas tree decorations in when they're going back up the attic.

Genius! That'll be my excuse for getting the box this year!:D

I couldn't eat a multi pack packet of crisps at Christmas. The box is an essential part of the experience!

How much is a box of 'Multi Packs' ?

They were €3 , I bought them too. Cheese & Onion or Variety pack available. The Worchester Sauce lured me to the variety pack.

You have to buy a box.

Then you keep the empty box in your press to refill throughout the year. This stops crisps falling out of the press when you stock up and helps prevent them being crushed.

By now last year's one will have become manky and greasy from a year of burst crisp packets and simply must be replaced.
