Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi there,
I've just been asked to photograph an event for two hours and they asked me how much would I normally charge for an event. As I'm only new to the whole event photography thing I've no idea how much to charge, they're giving me petrol money as well. I've received €40 euro for two hours work before but that didn't involve travelling.
    I'd appreciate your thoughts.
    Daire

Charge how much the time is worth to you. Ask them for 100 including editing of the pictures, a cd of all the best ones in high quality.

The last two hour photography job I did was worth €300 to me.

It's all about how much you value your time, your ability, your product, and your travel.

i don't think time there comes into it all that much, if you get your equipment ready, pack the car, do the event and then go home for some post production you should look at the bigger picture. also depends what kind of shot's / lighting your doing
