Fancy a Patriots win tonight, possibly watching the League MVP going up against the possible DPOY...should be intriguing anyway..

I'm so hyped up for this one and in case I wasn't hyped enough Jones and Mankins are active tonight and Bolden is back and active too.

I think we will see the Patriots keep the ball on the ground a lot tonight.

Excellent job by the D, excellent punt return by Welker to set up himself, Brady and the offense.:D

One of my pet hates in football. Players trying for the glory play on loose balls and trying to scoop it up. FALL ON IT! Critical 7 point swing

    MCCOURTY!!!!

McCourty! Ninkovich important on that drive.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Please don't tell me you are shouting for the Texans?

That would be so stupid for a Broncos fans. If we beat them and you beat them then you get the no.2 seed in the playoffs and you have a legitimate shot at the no.1 seed should anything go wrong for the Patriots and you guys go perfect.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,213 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

What an awesome start. This is just fantastic.:D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Tom Brady is so, so good.

Most, if not all of us have given up on the no.1 seed. There is not a fear of Houston losing another two games on top of this in all fairness and i dont particularly fear going to Houston in an AFC conference game they may not even make anyways. On the back of this, doing an Atlanta is very much on the cards for them. Brady in Foxboro on the other hand and we'd have our ****e.

This was by far the best shot at the Pats losing and bumping us into second seed but Houston aren't on yer level yet.

    pat's defence stepping up big

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Patriot's D is absolutely rock solid so far. Texans aren't firing at all though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

Could be an early night if the Patriots drive for a touchdown here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,299 ✭✭✭spiralism

San Fran are our only hope of number two seed in all likelihood. Damn. Knew well Houston would be shown up, the cracks were beginning to show and they're actually quite flawed and one dimensional if you get them into a spot. Cannot discredit NE though, who look terrifying.

Texans lose tonight and the Colts could win the division if they win out, including two wins vs. the Texans.

Silly flag. Could cost Texans a TD.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,213 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Gtfi Aaron Herandez!!!! 21-0, awesome, awesome, awesome!!!:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Texans being shown up again just like against the Packers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

    And that's probably that.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

The PI flag was the correct call, after the bump, the ball landed within 5 feet of Welker...John Gruden talking out his ass as usual, what did him bringing up double coverage have to do with the call??

Yeah I'm too happy right now to worry about what he says but it was a clear interference block on Welker and I certainly believe he would have made that ball only for it.

Such a lack of innovation on offense by the Texans. They have eight in the box, one on one on Johnson, try a play action for Christ sake. Once Brady doesn't turn the ball over on the next play, this is game over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,213 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

So far Arian Foster 8 rushes for 21 yards.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

Defense has been incredible...offense has slowed down, we need points on the first drive of the second or momentum will favor the Texans

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,510 ✭✭✭Hazys

The run game needs to start gaining yards, Ridley is only averaging 2.8 yards a carry

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,403 ✭✭✭spiritcrusher

Texans have to get points here to make a game out of this.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

Nearly every 2nd and 8-10 yards tonight, the Texans have run the ball.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,213 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Welcome back Dante Stallworth, nice way to start your return!:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,224 ✭✭✭✭SantryRed

    Game over.

Only question now is whether the Texans can score at all.
