Hi there , I've read the reviews on that model and people are disappointed with it's quality but they have great reviews on the next model up , the 316 I think it is. .. It has a separate sub woofer. Can you get me a price on one. Also can you get me a price onthe yamaha sound bars you mentioned. Thanks again.

    HawkeLady,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - the LSB316 I think is a US model and I don't think it is imported into Ireland or the UK.

I would recommend that you do opt for a soundbar with a separate sum but unfortunately in the LG range we only go as far as the 2420 at the moment and then we move across to the more specialist manufacturers like Boston / Pioneer / Yamaha - here are a couple of the options:

Boston TVEE26 - £279.95 - Completely focused on Audio Quality and with an excellent wireless subwoofer - it's a little expensive but it really does sound pretty amazing - the wireless subwoofer makes placement a complete doddle as well whilst retaining the typical Boston quality - have a look here:
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/soundbars/boston-/tvee-26/bost-tvee26b

Yamaha next with the YHTS401 at £349.95 - this really is more than a pure soundbar as it includes a full AV amplifier so it is a proper powered unit with AV inputs (including 3 HDMI inputs) this really is the centre of your home entertainment system - it looks slick as well (really slimline)

Now - if you want something a bit more serious again...

Pioneer BCS - SB626 - again rather more than a plain soundbar - the Pioneer is a complete system including Blu-Ray playback and 2.1 Virtual 3D Sound, this system offers HDMI, built-in wifi, a mini jack for portable music devices, Bluetooth compatibility, a front USB input and an iPod / iPhone cradle. It even includes a microphone input for karaoke singing!!!!

On top of all regular formats, the BCS-SB626 also plays your SACD discs, DIVX Plus HD and FLV video files and comes with features that optimise detail in low-grade, digital files like YouTube videos

the acual speaker is really slimline again with a powerful but slimline sub have a look here:
    bcs-sb626_f_gallery.jpg

    and the specs here: http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/45/66/42/BCS-SB626/page.html

Best of all - the Pioneer is probably the best value as it has been reduced down to £339.95

Apologies again for the delay getting back to you and give me a shout if we can assist in any way,

    John Mc & Crew

Hi again,, ok so the madness of Xmas is over I'm ready to commit ,, with sale prices of course... I want a brand that knows their sound and is high quality .. What I need , after much debate in the house, is a sound bar with wireless sub and a way to play my iPod via it and a USB port so I can play movies via a memory stick,, or is it easier to get a new blu ray player aswell, like the pioneer you mentioned. What's your best price;)
