Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, so I just received my renewal quote for bike insurance. I only use the bike for commuting to and from work, about 15 mile round trip so don't laugh at me when I tell you it's only a GZ 125, 8 years old.

Anyhow, received my renewal quote of 257 euro. When I look at the breakdown, the cost is 207 ( plus levies ), then a reduction for no claims which brings it down to 110, and then an increase ref " minimum premium level " bringing it up to 230.

So in effect my no claims is a loada b*****x as they increase it to a min of 230.

    Anyone seen this before?

Isn't a company offering 75% NCD on cage insurance at the moment? It's a load of cockology if the premium is 3 times higher than everyone else's quote to begin with.

In other words, don't worry about the jiggery pokery, it's the bottom line that counts. They'll find new ways if calculating their little bits and pieces and this is just today's stunt.
