Power cut when in my local a few years ago. They don't have a genny.....

A few of us were playing pool when the lights went out. Candles were lit and we decided to keep playing......with candles all around the table! Beer, candles and pool do not really mix properly......all got a severe chewing from the bar owner the next night for ruining the cloth on the pool table with wax

Light a few candles, whip out a deck of cards and away you go.

Usually there will be at least 4/5 arguments on who is cheating, numerous card counts and searching of pockets - and of course the obligatory storm off by a family member who then craps themselves due to the dark and comes back and sulks for a while, good times :-)

Get a board game out and wait for Dad to throw a tantrum and kick the board across the room :pac:
