Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Warm casual jacket

I've been searching for a warm casual jacket for ages. My brother had a Jack Murphy jacket years ago and my hubbie has a promotional branded Regatta one that fit the description - blouson shape, fleece (or similar) lined, in a non-girly colour with a hood that tucks into the collar. I've looked online and in shops, but all I can find are ski jackets, ones with removable fleece inners or pink ones that even my mother wouldn't wear.

    Help!

Kildare village has a great north face store. Can't recommend north face enough! Have gotten fantastic jackets there from anywhere between €70 - €150.

TKMaxx have a great range of these types of jackets if you have the patience to search?

Hmmm, Kildare Village would be a bit far, but will check Northface website again. TK Maxx tends to have the ski ones, mind you, my patience levels....

Esprit. Fat Face or quicksilver come to mind. O'Neill (not the one that does ugly gaa stuff) or Playlife and similar brands are another option but I don't know if they are available in Ireland.

I bought this jacket for my hubbie last xmas. It's very warm and it's casual but he'd also wear it on a night out too.

Thanks saggycaggy - I hadn't thought of Superdry. They have a good non-girly selection too. I'm liking this one:
