Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ah just like the good old days, no early and no late games.

    Arsenal 15 : 00 West Bromwich …
    Aston Villa 15 : 00 Stoke City
    Southampton 15 : 00 Reading
    Sunderland 15 : 00 Chelsea
    Swansea City 15 : 00 Norwich City
    Wigan Athletic 15 : 00 Queens Park Ra…

My first though is that all of these could so easily end up being score draws, but Arsenal really have to win, WBA are in danger of loosing 3 on the bounce so its a challenge of character for them too, Soton v Reading could be the most entertaining game today, leaky defences all round but lots of attacking endeavour, Swans v Norwich could be much the same (Michu for 30 million anyone?!), Wigan v QPR is another basement 6 pointer, Wigan have fallen away in the last month bar a win against Reading while 'arrys charges look for the first win of the season having tightened up since he took charge. Villa and Stoke could be anything including deadly dull, Chelsea away to Sunderland is a big game as well, can Chelsea kick on from the big if hollow CL win and can stodgy Sunderland finally win a second game at home?

    Interesting games.

I'll go with Arsenal to bounce back 3-0 against West Brom who are on the slide.

    Villa to beat Stoke 2-1.

Soton winning would be a huge result for them but I think it'll be a score draw. 2-2

Chelsea will beat a struggling Sunderland. It could be emphatic. 4-0

Swansea and Norwich will be interesting, I'll go for a 1-1 draw.

Think Wigan will have too much attacking threat for the poor QPR defence to handle. I think they'll win 2-1

I'm just hoping we can get back to winning ways, we're some way out of touch with the top 2 at the moment so a victory is a must as Spurs and Arsenal arent to far behind.

    3-1 Chelsea for me.

Ridiculously defensive midfield from Harry there.

Still no Darren Bent for Villa.

Please say Granero is injured? If not, a shocking call. QPR need to start winning games quick. That'll mean they'll have to start throwing caution to the wind in games against low in the table opposition like Wigan. That midfield has all the hallmarks of a team who are content to go out and gain a point.

    No Ireland for Villa either...

Great hit for McCarthy but the deflection helped take it away from Green.

Arsenal 1 up from a peno, Santi with a dive for it, shocking decision from the ref.

Didn't Norwich beat them last season at Liberty too? Some performance today.

To be fair to the ref, from the the angle he was looking at it it did look like Reid made contact. Awful dive though.

Delighted for Hughton, hopefully he keeps them up....Torres just scored a peno for Chelsea.

Torres didn't take a single peno for Liverpool as far as I know, is that his first for Chelsea?

Think so, first time I remember him taking one. Apparently his offer to take one was snubbed during the CL final.

Did that striker bet in ladbrokes. Pick 3 players to score. I did mata, michu and giroud. Come on Giroud

    Gunners 2-0 Arteta peno.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,844 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

If Swansea fail to win and Southampton win I'm out of my last man standing after 11 weeks :( Stand to win/share 1,000.

But I backed Southampton and a Norwich draw/win to return €190.

Not sure what to shout for!

QPR break the record for most consecutive games without a win. Pity they won't be around to break it again next season
