Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    And you MM?

Did Mingolet just take Hazard out with a slide tackle?

Chelsea should have had a penalty there. Bardsley done like a kipper by Mata's through ball. Sess has started well. Good game so far.

    Ha, Torres.

Mignolet is excellent. Our player of the year so far by a mile.

Chelsea should be two up...Torres asleep for one chance and good reaction from Mignolet for the other.

    Could be embarrassing for Sunderland.

Genuinely can't understand the logic behind dropping Asp at FB.
Romeu, now is the game to make a mark.

Mata's best position is in CAM where he's playing today, Di Matteo playing him out right was just wasting his talent, it looks like Benitez realises this

Should have had a penalty already but hoping we can do the business by any means today.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

This is going to be a cricket score.

    Get in there!!

If we don't beat Reading on Tuesday I genuinely think we're gone. There's no other manager available that we could realistically get that I can honestly say would be an improvement either.

    Worrying times.

    Whos down injured??

    Romeu......Oscar or Lamps?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

Oscar on...good move, keep the ball moving better then Lamps.
Bad for Romeu that hes injured when Mikel is out.

    Disappointed for Romeu.

I don't think so Paully, Soton's away form is poor, while Reading and QPR have to be gone. Ye'll be ok I reckon.

Brave move to bring oscar on, very attacking

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

We should have 60-65% possession so Oscar should thrive today.

Just Switched in. Anyone want to describe Torres goal?

Just Switched in. Anyone want to describe Torres goal?

Play started around 60 yards out, Torres rolled a defender, ball went out to Hazard on the left and he drilled a cross in and Torres managed to sneak in and poke it home from about 6 yards out.

Good build up and neat finish.

I still think QPR will stay up. Redknapp will get in a couple of players in January to shore up the defence and they'll probably sign Bent too who'll score 8-10 goals for them.

Southampton and Reading at least give it a go and will take points from teams like us who just sit back and hope for the best. We took the shackles off against Norwich and should have ended up winning the game.

In all honesty I was never expecting to get anything from this game. Reading is the big one but I've seen nothing from us this season which suggests we're good enough to beat them, but at least they'll give it a go against us.

Sunderland getting back into it the last 5 minutes.

We're not moving the ball as quick now that Romeu has gone out, everyone is taking more and more touches.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

    Bardsley stamping on Mata again.
