Cairns for Christmas??

    Hey guys myself and a couple of mates are looking for somewhere to go for Christmas. We're currently scattered about the country and looking to meet up with each other for Christmas. We're thinking of maybe heading up to Cairns for it. Would there be much craic up there over Christmas or would there be better places we could be hitting for it? If anyone has suggestions for places to go then fire away! :D

    Was there for xmas last year, not a whole lot of Craic - its just a small town. You would have to book into a backpackers & do dinner/everything with them as everything else shuts down.

    Gilligans in Cairns is bound to be busy over Xmas. The backpackers don't just disappear.
