Does anyone have any definitive tips for video websites that would give a bit of a visual dimension to primary lessons?

For example, short 5-10 minute video on Vikings, Aztecs, Science Experiments etc.

Youtube is blocked as we know, but theres ways and means of sorting that. Really what Im after is an educational video archive aimed at younger kids.. 8-12 ish?

    Thanks!

There's a great website with plenty of video archive recommendations here.

Like every video archive, it's important to spend a bit of time trawling through clips because the quality can vary greatly. I'm a big fan of TED.com for interesting pieces on educational theory and resources.
