Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Downing is a disgrace of a player.

Oh and in the opening 15 minutes, Lucas has been bloody incredible.

He has, and Gerrard has looked good playing a bit further forward in more or less a free role ahead of Allen/Lucas.

Id prefer Cole out there, at least he might make an effort in front of his old fans.

Got delayed at the offie, but saw the replay. Unreal goal. Always a stinger for the other team to concede an early wondergoal, but I'm glad its not us this time.

Looks like allen is the furthest forward of the midfield, strange

Time to kill the game off now. See if they can learn that today.

Can only imagine what our right flank would be like if Johnson in today's mood had a decent and willing winger on the flank with him.

Downing appears to have gone into his shell already.

    Haha....Enrique 360ing without the ball.

Sterling finding it hard holding onto the ball , Jono going forward every time good to see .

He looks to be going into whatever position Gerrard is not in. When Gerrard moves forward Allen drops back, when Gerrard moves across the pitch, Allen goes the other way and so on.

Yeah. Downing on the pitch and Cole on the bench, yet Assaidi and Pacheco cannot get a sniff of the bench.

To say Johnson looks up for this would be a gross understatement.

    Seems like he's everywhere.

    Downing giving his usual.

Johnson, Cole, Shelvey and Sterling. 4 cockenys on the field for Liverpool

When was the last time that happened?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Shelvey wouldn't track back like that if he was in midfield, but playing up forward he has no issue with it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 922 ✭✭✭MyBrokenKnees

Jose must have pulled a muscle in the warm up looking at himself in the mirror

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Liverpools problem under pressure is that Shelvey is no sort of out ball target who will make it stick, never mind take it and run at goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,889 ✭✭✭✭klose

If rodgers used his head and hat wisdom on the bench instead of 2 centre halves he could have switched glen to lb and put wisdom on the right.

    But no
