Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Agreed.

    Brilliant player.

In a decade where the club has wasted millions on very average British players, I think Johnson is the one example of a big money English player that is value for money.

I have often thought that an injury free Kelly would be a better out and out right back given enough games, but as an all round player Johnson has been a cracking buy who really seems to be getting better as he gets older.

I think Johnson is the type of player who really shows his worth with the going is rough.

Top notch today going forward and going back.

Yes....yes they did, back on the second page.

Carlton Cole is playing as well as I've seen him play. Has made it stick pretty much every time it's been played in his direction.

It's the manager's fault. He's been played into the ground and it has simply showed the last few games. Rodgers is not looking after him at all. It's disgraceful really.

In fairness he hasn't really had a chance to drop/rest him, we need raheem playing.our squad is brutal

People really need to stop being so shortsighted. The above is bollocks reasoning to be frank. His long term future is more important than any one game.

    I don''t see why a 17/18 year old can't play regularly.

Don't come back with Michael Owen argument, he's irrelevant.

Look at the like of Rooney who played lots of games for Everton as a young lad without problems.

Look at Rooney's physique. Look at Sterling's. Rooney was a physical freak for his age.

He could have made the balance of Suso and Sterling starting closer to 50:50, or played Assaidi/Pacheco (Both of whom I rate), or moved Gerrard/Shelvey higher up and played Sahin.
