    organising a large christmas dinner for a group of friends in carlow soon want to know what is a good place to eat that is reasonably priced for a carvery lunch

    The Talbot is very good and has a decent choice of menu.

    Teach Dolman is excellent. Dinn Ri is also good they might be able to book you into the upstairs bar.

    Toughers is also good - and bonus there is the free parking.
