    Manually close the flash when you're not using the camera, it will popup automatically when it's needed.

    Some flashes will open and close by themselves, your model only opens the flash. All the camera does to open the flash is to release a catch and the flash lifts up thanks to a spring mechanism, that means you have to close it manually.
