Length of time for online lodgement to transfer

    Hello. On Friday a sum was lodged into my account from another BOI account electronically using 365 online banking. It hasn't come through yet. How many days does it usually take? Might it still be lodged any time today?

    Hi folamh,

    Thanks for getting in touch. Online transfers from one Bank of Ireland current account to another usually go through within minutes. Transfers between other account types may vary, for example, transfers made from a Bank of Ireland current account to a Bank of Ireland credit card that are made after the 3:30pm cut-off will be processed on the next working day.

    If the transfer was between to current accounts, please contact the sender to confirm that the payment went through and that the correct details were used.
