Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He played 1 of his 6 games under AS at LB. The villa game.

He certainly played more than 1 due to injuries.

So why did we ever sell Aaron Hughes?

    1m...****ing Souness.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Tiote just scoops the ball forward as soon as he gets it, garbage

Links? They are quite difficult to find. I remember it being a big talking point at the time over the pundits over the run of games Duff played at full-back.

Jonas, Milner, N'Zogbia and Lovenkrands played quite a few on the wing.

That's fine, I guess. While I know it must be hard for a club watching the players jump ship after they were relegated you could understand why they may have. He like Owen was already injury prone when you bought them and were ****e in fairness but Duff stated in numerous interviews he tried his best. Maybe he was just ****ed and ****e. This season apart it's not like he's been too good since leaving you guys either.

He was happy to go along with us happy to see him leave giving us a chance to lighten the wage bill and bring in a couple of players. He just never did it for us, I thought when he first arrived he could have been an awesome player for us and showed glimpses but just never really did it consistently and was anonymous in our relegation season when we needed senior players to step up to the mark. Attitude just wasnt there and thats why I reckon he is being booed.

Berba shouldn't have been so greedy. He should have pulled that back.

I'm working off memory tbh. Your facts are incorrect.

He also played full-back versus Liverpool, Villa, Boro.

I thought he played more though aswell. Guess we're both wrong.

why is newcastle continually trying to thump in crosses, they go nowhere or hit off the back of a fulham player, why cant they just pass the ball and move the ball safely until something opens up

Is this the Duff argument still? If so Duff definitely played the last couple of games of the season at full back in the year you were relegated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,846 ✭✭✭Moneymaker

I wonder how many goals we've conceded have involved Tiote giving the ball away or making a ridiculous tackle.

Been saying for ages now he's a total liability. I'd laugh myself silly if we got 10-15m for him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,036 ✭✭✭BArra

danny simpson, stop attempting to cross a ball. abysmal

Thats not up for debate man.... He did. the insinuation is that he played there all the time and that was why he was pish...

He filled in at FB a number of times when enrique and beye and Raylor were injured

    He played against villa certainly.
