Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone figured the cheapest way to call a NZ mobile phone from Ireland?

My eMobile costs 40c/min and if I get a Lyca SIM it will cost 15c/min. Sure, Skype is free but I'd like to be able to make calls from a landline or mobile and not be tied down by WiFi access.

    Thanks,

    'cptr

Get a data-plan on your smartphone, and use mobile-skype.

    Did you check skype-to-go?

I use it to call my parents in Germany.

You log on to skype and type in the number you want to call, they assign a new number to it...it will be an irish landline number that routes to your original number. You then choose a skype subscription or just load and some credit and away you go... I get unlimited calls to my parents ofr 5EUr a month and it comes out of my free minutes for my mobile phone contract but I can also ring them from any otehr landline.
