Gifts for boyfriends parents?

Anyone got any idea on gifts to get my boyfriends parents. They have said they dont want anything to my boyfriend but are insisting on buying me something so would feel bad if I dont pick up something.

The ideas I have so far are a nice scented candle and a bottle of wine? My boyfriend is useless and wont give me any ideas!

I like the idea of a candle, everyone likes candles. Depending on your budget maybe you could get them a meal voucher for their favourite restaurant? I'd try to avoid wine, it's a nice gift but maybe too generic for a boyfriend's parents?
