Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Phone keyboards typing very inaccurate results...can anyone help?

I got an Orange Monte Carlo phone this time last year and I'm having a problem with it. It had worked perfectly up until now but these days whatever I try to type on it I get gibberish or very inaccurate results at least three quarters of the time.Only occasionally is it correct. It seems to be taking words it once knew and breaking them down into smaller words. (eg "happiness" becomes "has a db's a spine" no matter how carefully it's typed.)

I've downloaded several keyboards including swype etc and every one has the same problem. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I might do to fix it? It definitely hasn't had any physical damage and nothing new has been installed on it in many months.

No both seem to be set to english and fine and no one else has had access to the phone. I can't seem to find any setting that makes a difference. I'm at a loss to know whats happened.

Try clearing the cache on your keyboard. Or reset it back to default (the keyboard) and get it to learn again.

    Downloead swiftkey.

It's easily the best keyboard app. There's a free trial available and the full app will be on special offer in January no doubt.

Try using a different dialect of English (US/GB) with an alternative keyboard and make sure you switch off learning from facebook or drunken texts.

Did you type the thread subject with your phone? :P
