Surprised this is only in Bargain Alters, to be honest.

You'd think this rope would have a lot more threads!

Apologies to all the customers and staff who had accidents in my local LIDL today. It's just that when I cleared the checkout I needed to unwind.

So long as you don't misspell it. That could get nasty.

Mind you, a Google search for "Rope Jokes" get's fairly hefty after the first four results, anyway...

A blonde on her way to Lidl dropped in to her doctor for some dieting advice. Her wedding was 6 weeks later & she needed to lose some weight to fit into her wedding dress.

He advised that she was quite thin already and wouldn't need to do much to lose the weight she needed, so he gave her a weekly diet plan. His advice was to alternate the diet every week, do it week 1, skip week 2, diet week three, skip week 4 etc.

She came back 6 weeks later and the doctors jaw nearly hit the floor she was so skinny.

"I'm really impressed with the results" he stated, "did you find the diet difficult?"

"Oh no" she replied, "the diet was easy, it was the skipping that nearly killed me"
