Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pubs and Nightclubs in Edinburgh.

    Going to Edinburgh for 2 nights. Can anyone who has been/lives there recommend good bars and nightclubs. And also, whats the story with getting into clubs? Do they have strict dress codes? Does it matter if you're already hammered? etc. Also is drinking in public a major no no? I live in Galway and we drink in public on the way to town etc all the time and it's never a problem. Is it the same there or much more strict? Thanks!

    Might also be worth mentioning that we'll be there mid week so if anyone knows of places that are good during the week it would be much appreciated.

    Edinburgh is a great great city to go out!
    The best place is the grass market..its an area full of hopping clubs and pubs..
    Another good pub is biddy mulligans and a place called the three sisters.. very good value for money..lots of deals and that..

    We found no prob with clubs really..sometimes they want to see a passport and you may get the anti irish thing in some place but generally no prob..

    dress code is more or less the same..we had shirts and good shoes on us just in case..
