Two rejected - my first (inc 10 x PTV)
It seems that 'Ask any question' is permissible even though you can't.
Still one December complaint outstanding - fingers crossed.
Is it my imagination or has there been a shift in the way the Committee forms its opinions?0 -

Overview:
In one of my 'rejects' I cited, among other things:
Dialling tones sounding throughout.
On-screen countdown clock.
'Tick-Tock' sound.
The sounds are not particularly entertaining and the the only reason I can see for them is to induce the audience into phoning the show...
...and why the countdown clock? - The lines are open 24 hours a day.
The BAI said:(extract)

In reaching this decision, the Committee took into account the following: -Upon review of the broadcast, it was the Committee’s view that the content did not~~~

Strikes me as inefficient to have two controlling bodies.
