Dreamweaver issues

I did a course recently on website design and we used dreamweaver CS5.5 to learn the ropes as it were. One of the things we went through was behaviours. There is a small cross which is clicked on for behaviours to appear that cross seems to have disappeared from the program. If anyone could be of help it'd be great
