The Helix - best seats ?

Hi ... want to go to the Helix to see a solo artist in 2013. What about the front row ? is it bad ? The tiered seats are the most expensive yet they are farther away - why are they more expensive ? .... are the front un-tiered stalls worse ? Many thanks.
