Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This match will decide a place in the final and will last for 48 hours (counting from 1pm today) in which time the participants will need to outline their team, basic strategy, and strategy against their opponent.

There will be a poll but only votes with answers developed in a post will be taken into consideration. This development doesn't have to be paragraphs long, even a single sentence is fine. But don't vote until the competitors have had a chance to outline their teams.

    My Team:

    abDOE4QanR.jpg

In goal I have a quality keeper who is a very good shot stopper and has excellent distribution. He will help start many attacks more swiftly and accurately than most other keepers.

My two central defenders are not household names but Hangeland and Distin are very reliable and have been for years. I think my two fullbacks, Assou-Ekotto and Richards, are two of the better ones in the league. They are relatively reliable defensively and are very good going forward. They will provide a great source of width.

Makélélé is without doubt one of the best DMs of all time and will be crucial to my team. He will largely nullify any AM he will come up against in the draft and will also provide great cover to my fullbacks who will get forward more as a result. He also has a magnificent first touch and control, which is vital when it comes to receiving the ball in tight spaces and starting attacks. Beside him will be Rosický, who is a tidy player and will get the ball forward to the others as well as putting a shift in defensively.

Ahead of the CMs are Oscar, Cazorla and Nasri who will all interchange which will cause a lot of confusion to any defence. They will link up with Assou-Ekotto and Richards and provide great service to Adebayor.

Adebayor himself will be much more than just a goalscorer in this team. He will make plenty of diagonal runs which will drag CBs out of position which will in turn create space for Oscar, Cazorla and Nasri to exploit.

    Best of luck to Jax.

    My Team.

    Goalkeeper & Defenders

My Goalkeeper is a good keeper nothing special but he gets the job done .Has kept 8 in clean sheets in his 14 PL games .Uniteds No1 for now anyway

Neville probably the greatest rb in PL history , not the most naturally gifted footbaler ever but he made to the top with hard work and determination . A great leader on the pitch also puts an excellent cross into the box which Jelavic will thrive on .

Smalling an excellent young defender only back from injury but already looks back to his best .
Lescott had the best season of his career last season hasn't hit the same heights this season so far but still a good defender .

Ridgewell a solid left back again nothing special but will do the job he asked . In the form of his life atm imo.

    Midfield

Yacob an excellent signing by Wba has been outstanding this season breaking up the play and starting attacks .
Anita another good signing probably hasn't settled in aswell as Newcastle had hoped though still a good dm as along as been able to fill in at either fullback position.

    Attack

Lallana Southampton's skipper has been their stand out player so far this season imo . Great good forward but also offers his full back a lot of protection . Good at set pieces

Ben Arfa tricky pacey winger will create chances for himself and others also has a cracking shot on him .

Hazard one of the signings of the season offers trickery and pace like Ben Arfa but on another level , he'll also create chances for himself and others just like we have seen at this season so far . Good finisher also a good at set pieces .

Jelavic an excellent finisher and good header off the ball who will run all day for me . Will hold up the ball for the other midfielders perfectly. 14 goals in 26 Pl appearances .

    Good luck Blatter

On first glance they appear to be two very similar teams in terms of formation. That being the case then my vote goes to Blatter all day long, player for player he has more quality in his team.

This one is difficult can make a case for either team. Ill go for Blatter on account I feel he has a slightly better blance. Makélélé would be huge in this game I think

    Blatter for me fairly easily.

Not a fan of Jax's midfield and taking Hazard out I think the team is missing some flair. Blatter's attack looks like it could cause some serious problems to any defense and I think including Makelele gives the team a seriously solid center piece that no other player in this draft can really compare to.

    My vote to Blatter

I thought my team could compare to his but I was wrong as atleast voting wise Blatter easily swept my men aside and I think it will be the same here. All round too strong for Jax's side which i do like but it is lacking in star power imo. Hazard aside Neville is probably the only really top player in that side for me and RB isnt always the most influencial position
