To be fair to Villa this is what we've been doing for the last few weeks. We've more or less conceded any midfield possession and have packed the defence and tried to release Benteke or Holman for a counter with Weimann always eager to run.

Defence wise it's been youngster using pure enthusiasim as opposed to experience and presence to defend. This means we've been concedeing lots of chance but you'll always have someone trying last ditch, full on tackles - and we've been riding that luck. With the exception of the City game (which had 2 very soft penos) it's been just about working but it's made all our opposition look great
