Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Liverpool can learn alot from Villa today. That's how ya attack with purpose. No point playing well when ya can't ****ing score

At least there should be no delusions going in to the January transfer window.

It'd have to be a significant bid, he's by far PL best signing and now that villa have cleaned up their finances they don't need to sell.

    Err, Michu.

Benteke, Weimann and Bannon have been brilliant for Villa today

Bannon has improved but was brutal for the first 30 minutes, has no composure on the ball when he gets it facing his own goal, just hoofs it over his shoulder.

He tries to do what Ashley Westwood does.

would have taken Joe Allen off...the liverpool midfield is way too slow so hopefully Henderson gives us some life there.

Collects a massive wage for passing a ball 10 Yards to central defenders

'The Rodgers' doesn't take Joe Allen off.

Hahah I reacted in shock to the 'best pl' signing as well until I realised it meant Paul Lambert.

At least cole is showing and looking for the ball. Squad is too small. A lot of them looking tired and lucas looking unfit

Allen , lucas, gerrard and downing have been abysmal.

watching Benteke destroy the Liverpool defense today reminds me of all the times Drogba destroyed us.

Maybe photocopy the balance sheet and parade that at the end of the season?

Sterling has been far better since moving to the left. I wish Rodgers would stop playing him on the right.

    Opr

Not really an excuse against Villa, in comparison 'pool have more experience, skill and players.

Villa have more heart today though, that's for sure.

    Downing has been decent enough.

Other three have been pretty bad, and since Allen or Gerrard don't get the blame from the manager it's looking bad for Lucas.

It's because we are not used to playing Saturday 3 o'clock games. I blame Europa league.

    Oh and the shiiiite players.

Just gonna have a look at the checklist

    -started game dominating
    -conceded a screamer
    -lost confidence
    -penalty claims turned down
    -struck woodwork

    Yep, We're watching Liverpool alright.

Villa having a striker probably has something to do with it too.

No not an excuse. Villa have been the better team since the first goal went in. It was only last week against West Ham where I realized just how short on quality options we are. Fair play yee deserve it today

He must have insulted Allen or something. Hasn't made a PL appearance for ages, and unlike Sterling hasn't been that bad when he's played.

Yeah and ye guys have Suarez, don't let one game cloud your judgement.

Benteke is good but at the moment (not just this game) Suarez is the more complete striker.

Him and Ince would be a great pair of signings. Maybe we could go for Babel as well, plays for Ajax.

That Torres lad from Chelsea night not be a bad call either...doesn't look up to much but he can't really get any worse.

    Suarez booking....check
