'Love', to me, is one of those words that means different things to different people. However, I'd like know what people honestly think is the minimum amount of time you can know someone before you fall in love with them. Do you believe love at first sight exists? Can you fall in love with someone after spending a few hours or days together à la so many romantic movies? Feel free to leave a comment.

Unfortunately, MakeEmLaugh, this topic, as it is currently framed, isn't particularly suited to Humanities. If you would like a scientifically-minded answer, then might I suggest either the Biology forum or, indeed, the Anthropology, Sociology & Culture forum. On the other hand, if you would like to have a general discussion on this matter, then I would suggest After Hours. Humanities caters for intellectual discussion about social and cultural issues and, while love is most certainly a social and cultural issue, the way in which this thread is framed leads me to believe it would not be conducive to an intellectual discussion. If you would like some clarification then please feel free to PM me.
