Do you smoke inside your own house?

The ceilings in my house are 15ft high and I'm a bit OCD about keeping the place clean so if I smoke inside there's never a lingering smell. That said, even I hate the smell of smoke so go outside whenever possible.

I'd never tell someone that they can't smoke in my house.. I just couldn't do it. If I had kids or a pet not addicted to my passive smoking then perhaps it'd be different.

The only tobaccy I smoke is of the whacky variety and I do that indoors because the smell is delightful.

I think anyone who would intentionally expose anyone, particularly someone they love, to cigarette smoke is selfish. When that someone is an underage child in their care then I think they are a dispicable, disgusting excuse for a parent. I really don't get how easily parents who smoke around children are let off the hook.
Totally agree Miss Lockart and I can see later on where children will take their parents, guardians, relations or anybody who subjected them to passive smoking to court and suing these people for putting their lives at risk using health and safety legislation. The home should be a safe place for children and smoking is very controllable, just get off your ass and go outside.

I do like the wacky stuff now and then, but the smell of it makes me feel ill. I'm too paranoid to smoke it on the balcony though :(
