Do you mean sales tax on things that you bought while you were on holiday there? If so, then no, you can't. The US does not offer tax free shopping to tourists the way that Ireland and the EU do. There is the odd place here and there (a few shopping malls in Louisiana and Arizona for example) that don't apply sales tax at point of purchase, if you produce a foreign passport. However, its not something that the country as a whole or retailers in general offer to shoppers from overseas.

You can claim sales tax back on certain items at the airport but this varies from state to state (NY you can, Cali you cant) but then you are in theory required to pay duty and tax in Dublin)
