broadband only package?

is there anything available or in the pipeline
im an eircom customer using 'only' the broadband-costs me 50 a month for 3meg


vodafone have it for about 35euro- 24 meg and 160gb cap
and i think sky now have a product

i think you may have misunderstood my question

im currently paying 50 euro for 3 meg dsl broadband -i dont use a phone on the line

vodafone have up to 24 meg 'broadband only ' starting at 31-99 including vat and line rental

im just wondering if eircom have/plan anything similar for dsl broadband only users

when i enquired today i was told cheapest is 1meg for 40 euro

I have looked into this and i can confirm that considering eircom cannot offer broadband without line rental the cheapest we can offer is as previously advised of 1mb for €40 per month for the first 6 months and €45 per month then after. This includes :

• Unlimited Off-Peak Local and National landline calls
• Package includes monthly line rental
• 30 Off-Peak minutes to any Irish mobile operator
• 1mb broadband with a 10gb usage alowance

It works out cheaper to avail of the package, as for stand alone broadband and line rental the cheapest we can offer is 25.39 (1mb broadband) + 25.78(line rental) (total comes to €51.17).

but eircom inc line rental costs 52?
