Sims 2 and 3 are significant improvements over the first one. The core dynamic is the same, where you basically do all the tiresome crap you don't actually do in real life in order to get better jobs and improve your land but the customisation options for looks and character traits make it far more interesting, as do the lifecycles (no more immortal drowning in a swimming pool with no ladders.) and genetics. Personally I preferred 2 but 3 is a gorgeous looking slice of more of the same.

I couldn't find them on Amazon so I'm not so sure that deal exists. They are going for fairly cheap on GMG though.

Edit: Can only find the ME3 deal on GMG now.

Actually I've checked your Steam account and you've 51 games and you haven't played most of them so you're not getting any off me.

You'd hate me. 52 games, 30 not installed. To be fair, all 30 have been purchased in the last week :o

252 games owned / 126 not played according to this

I don't think it is right though as there is games in that 126 I have definitely played. I would put it at about 20-30 games that I have no played yet most of which have been bought in the last few weeks.

Sale hasn't been great so far. Picked up wargame and endless space. That's about it. Prices have been cheaper elsewhere for the other stuff I got.

I keep getting emails from steam telling me that an item on my wishlist is on sale with 0% off.

I think I'll wait until they hit 1% off.

Got 43 not played but a lot of those are from Humble Bundles which I was not interested in playing in the first place :)

Scary part is looking at how much time I spent in TF2 though (2.5k hours!).

I think Jaytee's point was that the poster in question has spent the past week begging people for games. He even asked people to send him money on paypal so he could treat himself and has repeatedly asked for people to gift him games on Steam yet he has 51 games in his Steam library and hasn't even played the majority of them.

Is natural selection worth a punt?

All I've bought on Steam is the Monkey Island bundle for €3.75 and Garry's Mod for €2.50. Finished the first Monkey Island last Friday and have just started the second. Got LOTR: War in the North on Greenman and the Humble Bundle.

Pretty poor sale by Steam standards and now they've started repeating stuff. Valve really dropped the ball on this one, didn't even have the picture story thing on the store background.

PS It really annoys me to see the number one selling game on Steam being something which is considerably cheaper elsewhere. Some people don't seem to realise you can buy digital games from more than one retailer.

They always repeat stuff, which is good. In case someone misses one cause of job etc.

The DoW2 games are good imo, I reckon I've got about 300 hours between the 3.

Yes Natural Selection is awesome and well worth it.

Can someone clarify something. I just bought the Walking Dead. That's all 5 eps right? I haven't just bought ep1 or anything? It doesn't reeeeally clarify it too well in the description.
