Lol, tell me about it.Spent about a week playing certain games for about half an hour then thinking maybe I should have a go at something else and then jumping over to something else. Finally calmed down the other night and got into Civ 5.Playing Arma 2 a bit as well(single player to learn the basics), fairly tough and bit of a steep learning curve.Figured out fairly quick that you can't run around like a lunatic or you're dead.Nice kick up the arse from playing COD for years.

You spent 46 euro on TF2 items?

Yup, 23 Naughty Crate Keys at €2 a pop. Worth it in the end, unboxed two items I was really looking for, and overall unboxed a total value of around 33 keys.

I made the same mistake last time because it was cheap. Much to the amusement of a couple of people here when I mentioned I got hacked by a door...

    Especially legend.

Really? I felt Legend was sorta weak, though I hear Angel of Darkness is truly the cack one.

I love Underworld, and 3. Going through Anniversary now. Never played Chronicles and very much looking forward to Revelations, I hear it's superb!

Meatwad just give up why'll you can. Resign yourself to being spoiled for choice and never wanting to look at your PC again because the choice is so vast that you don't really have a choice as you will never want for anything ever again...

I took it very easy this year.

    Rome: Total War - 2.99
Knights of the Old Republic 2 - 2.49
    Morrowind - 2.99

    Didn't even break a tenner!

What I love about Steam sales is that more often than not I go overboard and buy far too many games but much like that Blu-Ray I buy and don't watch for a year, I know that it'll be there waiting for me on that one night when I'm in the mood for it.

Controls are all over the place. There's "In Game Tutorials" which are videos. No dialogue/voice over on them to advise what the tutorial is referring to or telling you what to do. So you've got to try and figure out what menus looks the same as in the video when you go to repeat the damn thing.

Haven't played since I got hacked by the door. It's gone straight to the bottom of my To Do List. With Steam Sales, that To Do List isn't gonna be exhausted anytime soon.

I bought it during the summer, installed it and got as far as the main menu before deciding to play something else instead and have yet to go back. keep meaning to but it's pretty low down on my games to play list.

    I end on
    sleeping dogs - 14 + 3 for DLC
    rainbow six Vegas 1,2 - 5
    ghost recon advanced warfighter 1,2 - 3.75
    sniper ghost warrior - 2
    assassins creed 2 - 3.75
spec ops the line - 6.50
    devil may cry 4 -2.20
    race injection - 4.50
    GTR Evo - 2.70
    Mass effect collection - 10
    mass effect 3(gmg) - 6.50
    darksiders franchise pack - 14
    prince of Persia 2 games - 5
    splinter cell conviction - 3.75
Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion - 10
    GTA 4 Complete - 9
    Oblivion goty - 5
Train Sim 2013 - 11 ahh why not
    KOTOR 1,2 - 5
    The Last Remnant - 3.75

130 could of been worse traded in some console stuff for that 30% extra gamestop deal on steam credit, spent about another 40 on mass effect DLC so that makes it alot worse

Think I'll just start at the first one and play through them. Maybe I should alternate between them and the entire numbered Resi Evil catalogue that are also in my backlog.

Well a friend of mine whos favourite series is the TR series says all you need is play Anniversary first then legend [if you can bare it] followed by underworld.
Not sure about any of the others.

CS:GO was supposed to be 50% off in the vote, right? Why is it appearing as 25% off for me now?

is this happening again for max payne 3 should be 75% but showing as 50% ????

It is for me. give it a few minutes

steam has had a couple of these moments

Where did you get Morrowind for less than €5?

I lie, it was actually 4.99 for the Game of the Year edition. Got it on Steam on the Christmas Eve day of the sale.

I escaped with €1.47 worth of DLC for Crusader Kings II. Score

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,995 ✭✭✭Sofiztikated

    So...

    Darksiders franchise
    Sim City 4
    Dead Island

    I did pretty well.

    Humble Indie Bundle as well.

€25 odd to Gabe, and €15 to starving indie dev's.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,066 ✭✭✭Washington Irving

    Humble Bundle

The Binding Of Isaac with Wrath of the Lamb DLC
    Dungeon Defenders Collection
    Legend of Grimrock
    Indie Game: The Movie
    Snapshot
    Closure
    Shank 2
    Offspring Fling
    The Basement Collection

    Steam

    Garry's Mod - €2.49
    Portal - €2.49
Star Wars: KOTOR - €2.49 (but it doesn't seem to want to work)

    GMG

Lord of the Rings: War in the North - €3.50
    Civilizations V Gods and Kings - €3.15

About €20 spent overall, most of the stuff I wanted (Dawnguard, Dishonoured, GTA IV, Lego HP, Fable III) didn't get reduced by as much as I would have liked so I left them. Poor sale by Steam standards but other retailers seem to be improving a lot.
