Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You should look for clinics where the doctors are resident in ireland. Ideally the doctor may own his own clinic or at least work from a reputable hospital such as Beaumont, James etc as well as running clinic.

Where does the doctor work from?
    Where did he train?
How many years has he been doing nose jobs?
How many does he do per year?

The reason for this is that many doctors fly into ireland but are not resident here. Some companys act as marketeers for them but are not medical themselves. You will know this because once you have a consultation with them (usually free) they will ring you many times and try to convince you to take up their special deals. Dont be tempted by price.

Pay for consultations with as many surgeons as you can.
If you were a good surgeon with lots of good referrals, would you need to give free consultations? Probably not. Pay the money. Its your nose and its worth it. You only get one.

Also, try look for a doctor who is very confident. Would a guy of 30 have done enough nose jobs? If he is doing one a month, he should be doing at least 20 - 30 a year to be up to scratch at it. Its a skill after all.

Ask the surgeon where he trained. They say anyone who did time in James hospital is good and has cut their teeth well.

Ask yourself do you like the guy? There is no such thing as the perfect doctor but there is the perfect doctor for you. He must make you feel confident and be happy to answer any questions you may have without patronising you.

    Im having mine done tomorrow.
