Just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a Christmas carol service taking place this week in the city centre or North Dublin areas? Thanks.

There will be some carol singing from the staff of An Post at 1pm at the GPO today (probably a bit late for that one) and again every day until 21st December.

On Saturday 22nd, a group called the Cameron singers will be there singing carols 1-2pm.
    Christmas festivities at the GPO
The GPO’s lunchtime carol singing has become a much loved Dublin tradition, where members of the public are invited to come and join in. The carol singing will run from 1pm to 2pm on Monday to Friday until 21st December.

With accompaniment by Noel Carroll on violin and Lillian O’Connor on piano even the most shy and reluctant of visitors will be enticed to join in, so be prepared to have fun and enjoy the festive cheer.

Bring the children along to see our Christmas display. Our display includes a very ‘special post box’ where the children can post their letters to Santa and our postal elves will ensure they are delivered to the North Pole in time for Christmas.

If you miss our weekday lunchtime carol recital you can always drop in to the GPO on Saturday 8, 15 and 22 December, from 1pm to 2pm, to listen to the angelic Cameron singers.
