Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cannot see anything other than an Arsenal win, but unfortunately I don't foresee a scoreline anything close to the cup game.
1-2 Arsenal, with Cazorla and Giroud the scorers.

    From sky sports

Reading strikers Jason Roberts and Pavel Pogrebnyak could return to the squad for Monday's Premier League clash with Arsenal.

The pair sat out last week's defeat at Sunderland with injuries but may be available to manager Brian McDermott.

Jimmy Kebe (groin) and Jem Karacan (knee) have returned to training but will not play, while Sean Morrison (ankle) is still sidelined and Alex McCarthy is out long term.

Arsenal should have striker Olivier Giroud in contention again following a back problem.

Defender Laurent Koscielny has resumed training after his thigh injury, but England winger Theo Walcott (calf) will be assessed.

Full-back Andre Santos (stomach muscle) and midfielder Abou Diaby (thigh) continue their rehabilitation.

I have a very bad feeling about this....and I'm an Arsenal fan! We don't do Monday nights good!

    0-3 to the Arsenal.

There simply HAS to be a reaction to last weeks shambles.

Arsenal should demolish them, but probably won't.

I'll go for 4-2 to Arsenal.

Strange front line but happy to see change tonight

Delighted to see Gervinho and Ramsey nowhere near the starting 11

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 53,262 ✭✭✭✭GavRedKing

    3-1 to Arsenal I reckon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,984 ✭✭✭Soups123

First bit of balls shown by Wenger 4 a while a few others should feel lucky to start

100% expect a reaction tonight, not sure if we'll see one though

Will be interesting to see how Pogrebnyak is handled tonight.

Im gonna put myself out for some potential ridicule but i predict 5-1 arsenal with a world class performance.

Even as a Man Utd supporter, it frustrates me to see Podolski on the left wing. I think he's far more effective as a centre forward.

    Any team line ups around?

I'll answer my own question, here they are:

Reading: Federici, Cummings, Gorkss, Mariappa, Shorey, McAnuff, Leigertwood, Tabb, Kebe, Hunt, Pogrebnyak. Subs: Taylor, Gunter, Pearce, Le Fondre, McCleary, Robson-Kanu, Harte.

Arsenal: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Podolski. Subs: Mannone, Koscielny, Rosicky, Giroud, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gervinho.

    PLEASE WIN ARSENAL!!!

I'm thinking Arsenal to turn their form right around tonight and smash
    Reading 1-1 :pac:

2-1 to the Gunners and Id take it now this very second if I was offered it.

Theo or Podolski through the middle I wonder?

Is Walcott or pod up front?

Looks like a very inter-changeable front line with Podolski, Walcott, Chamberlain and Cazorla. Should do well against Reading.

I'd guess Podolski but thats all it is.

    I'd imagine Podolski as well.

Bit too late to start trying to bribe Theo by playing him through the middle when he can sign with another club in less than a month.

A front three of Podolski, Giroud and Walcott is potentially devastating!

Giroud isn't paying. The Ox is.

Excellent player with an excellent footballing brain.

Dont know how im feeling about the game to be honest. We could win comfortably but it might also be very close with Reading fighting for their lives to stay in the PL.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭Ed Winchester

    Niall Quinn on commentary.

    That's very very disappointing.

Is the line-up for that out...?

    Niall Quinn on commentary.

    That's very very disappointing.

Surely Quinn commentating should bring more unrest than a silly flag.

Only time when people look for a foreign stream.

    From BBC:
The teams have met 10 times, with the Gunners winning on every single occasion, at a combined score of 28-9.

That kind of running from Oxlade-Chamberlain is what's needed.
